Embark on a day trip with Peter and Reza from New York City to Sam’s Point and Westwind Orchard. You’ll leave the city in the morning and be back in the evening after a day of hiking and some delicious nibbles and drinks at Westwind Orchard. Westwind is one of the areas best kept secrets!

Sam’s Point Preserve is on the highest point on the Shawangunk Ridge in New York. We’ll hike through ice caves and to the highest point in the area with broad views of the Hudson Highlands. The hike can be between 2 - 4 hours depending on the group.

On our way back to the city we’ll visit Westwind Orchard. The Orchard has a beautiful dining space with wood fired pizza, pasta, salads, cider and cocktails. Perfect for a post hike snack. There is typically live music and a lively vibe. The evening ends back in the city to enjoy your night in comfortable air conditioning.

Car service, some hiking snacks, and trail guiding details for the day will be handled for you. Just show up ready for a quick adventure! We depart from NYC Sunday, July 27th at 7:30 a.m. and plan to be back in the city before 8:00 p.m.
